The Colorado 14er Project: Day 7

When we began Day 7 we were almost halfway through our summer Colorado 14er Project. Looking back at some of the footage you can definitely tell we’re starting to get a little tired. But believe it or not, we were still having fun.

Winterizing your T@B 400!

It’s that time of year again! With temps dipping down below freezing, don’t risk bursting pipes in your RV… winterize! In this video, Kendrick will walk you through 10 quick steps to winterize your TAB 400… but, we do it a bit different. We prefer to use vodka rather than anti-freeze. Vodka will only allow you to go down to temps around -16 degrees F, but we prefer this all natural, easy to to clean method. Happy winter camping!

Day 6 was a return to early morning wake ups (one of the harder parts of this project) and the thin air above 14,000 feet (one of the more fun parts of this project). The 4:30am departure to the trailhead was rough, but that’s why coffee exists.

The Colorado 14er Project: Day 5

Day #5 of our 14er project presented yet another day of travel. Sure, there’s over 50 14ers in Colorado, but in order to keep our hikes around ten miles or less we had to do a little bit of driving. Luckily, this project has helped make our travel days a lot more exciting.
