This is now the third installment of our “Day in the Life” series, where we film everything we do all day so that we can bring you with us! It’s had a surprisingly positive response – which certainly has to do with our current pandemic and the obvious “cabin fever” that has come along with it.
A Day in the Life… #2
After releasing our first “Day in the Life” video, we felt so excited to be sharing our raw and true “behind-the-scenes” lives with you! So, of course we made another. This time, after filming a YouTube video, we go on a scavenger hunt that one of our Patreons challenged us to do. It was great to have a purpose to our day, as well as explore some new areas!
A Day in the Life…
I’m not sure what inspired me to film my day and share it with you. Mostly I think its just an attempt to be more authentic and connect with my viewers. In this video I take you through a day of fishing, drawing, and cleaning my camera sensor. No two days are alike, and that is the only constant thing about our days. Let me know if this style of video is boring or if you’d like more!
The Colorado 14er Project: Day 13
After a long day shivering in the frigid winds at 14,000 feet on Day #12 we were ready for another recovery day. So, for Day #13 we planned on moving camp from Leadville down to Poncha Springs. Along the way we’d do lost of touristy things and meet up with some great friends.
The Colorado 14er Project: Day 12
After a nice-and-easy travel day, we were ready to hit the ground running—well, hiking—on Day 12! With another early morning wakeup we found ourselves at the trailhead for Mt. Belford & Mt. Oxford before 4am. Join us as we knock off 2 more peaks, 2 drives, a water feature and a really cool coffee shop!
The Best Bits: Hawaii
At the beginning of February, Kendrick and I found a very very rare block of free time. Wanting to take advantage of it, we booked a last minute trip to Hawaii! We spent most of our time on the trails and in their spectacular mountains… mixed in with just a little bit of beach time. We visited Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island. It was so very difficult to narrow the video down to just 4 minutes out of 2 weeks, but I did it! Enjoy!
