Fitness while Full Timing: Get out of your Funk!

We all suffer from it from time to time. A funk. A slump. A momentary weakness in our resolve. But it’s okay! As long as we recognize these moments before they turn into the goliath known as depression, we can turn it around. And it’s time. Time to get out of my funk and into my fit!

Bluebonnets02bAnd I have a plan. I’ve been holding on to a secret goal. I’ve kept it a secret out of fear. For once I voice it, it becomes real. I become accountable, and failure becomes an option. And perhaps that’s just what I need right now. I need you. I need my 20,000 friends to kick my butt when I begin to slack, when I get lazy, and when I stop sharing my adventures.

I’m going to get there, and you’re going to come with me. Here’s the plan:

  1. Yeah, I’m struggling with moving my butt with as much work as we’re doing right now! You’ll get there… especially now that you have put it out there. : ) That’s a hefty goal, but totally do-able. And, WOW will it be awesome to get to the top!

  2. Awesome goal! I’ll be cheering for you from down below! 😉

After 3 years on the road, I’m pretty much in the best shape of my life. Not bad for an old dude! I have confidence that you can pull this off! ❤️

  3. Girl, you’re a badass! I know anything you set your mind to, you will accomplish! You and Jonathan Irish are my favorite photographers and one day I hope I can be as good as y’all! And I pray for you as you travel (gosh, I wish I could do what you do)!

  4. Come to PA and we can get out of the “funk” together. I want to get out more to take pictures but don’t want to go it alone. Love your Blogs.

  5. Go, Mandy, go! I can’t wait to see the beautiful things you post from your journey to the top of that mountain!

  6. Hi Mandy, I was so hoping to get to see you in the Smokies this week but, after my dad died on March 9, I have too much going on right now to leave town. Maybe I can see you at another of your workshops, as I know I would love it and also to meet you. Your work is truly inspiring for me and I look forward to your videos, also! Keep up the good work! Hugs and safe travels.

    • Hi Teresa! What a kind message, I really appreciate it! I do hope we can meet one day. I’ll be doing many more workshops throughout the year. Good luck with your dad, I know that can be hard. Love & Light <3
