18 Camper Mods to Remodel your Home & Heart

It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home.

It doesn’t matter where you are, or what size your home is. Whether you live alone or surrounded by loved ones. We all need a place to call home – a place to belong.

Finding this place is a challenge for those who dare to live outside the norm. In a world of commerce, where the size of your house is expected to reflect the success of your life’s pursuits. How do these brave nomads find a place to center their being? Rather than gather belongings to construct a house around ourselves – we gather experiences, love, and friendships and with these build a stable home.

However, I am not a fool to think there are not logistical comforts to be had. In this video you will learn 18 of my favorite camper modifications. These “camper hacks” are not only incredibly useful, but each one has helped me turn my ever-moving house into a home.

  1. Great video! Thanks for some ideas to add to ours too. The pvc storage for your jack handle is one we did ourselves too, the hinges under the bed is one thar we are going to do too, and the stick idea, my wife is already doing. One that we are considering is removing the microwave and using the space for more storage. We have found that we dont use it very much anyway, and if we off grid camp its useless too. One question about the license holder, is it lighted? Some states require it.

    • Okay – you caught me there. I opted for the “ask forgiveness not permission” route with the plate light. However, I know they sell some battery operated lights you could mount if you don’t want to mess with rewiring anything. You’d just have to turn it on and off.

  2. Love to see you getting “Phoenix ” dialed in ! Happy trails , Mandy . 💛🌞
